2008 Australian Band Championships - Introduction & Schedule

Here we are back in Brisbane again for the Australian Nationals titles - less than two years since the Sunshine State last hosted the Championships. 

There is no doubting the fact that Brisbane is a terrific City in which to hold a contest - great climate, efficient infrastructure, and convenient venue and  accommodation locations.

At final count, following the withdrawal of several bands, there will be 48 brass bands and 9 concert bands participating in the contest this year.
