Co-op add 3 year funeral deal in North West

A new three year deal sees Co-op keep connection to leading funeral service provider.

Co-op sponsors

The Co-operative Funeralcare Band North West has announced that it has secured a sponsorship agreement with the UKs leading funeral service provider to carry it name for a further three year period.

Builds

The band is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and the new agreement builds on an initial deal secured in 2011.

During the last twelve months the band has supported both Co-operative Funeralcare and the main Co-operative Group at various events including performing at open days at Mayfields Woodland Burial Ground in the Wirral and Stockport Crematorium, as well as the Co-operative Christmas Concert in aid of MENCAP, the Group’s charity of the year for 2011.

Close partnership

George Tinning, Managing Director of Co-operative Funeralcare told 4BR: "We’re pleased that our close partnership with this top quality band helps them to continue with the excellent work for which they are known, as well as enabling us to give something back to the local communities in which we serve."
