Double celebration for Becontree

25 years of hard work and success will be celebrated at Becontree's forthcoming concert.

Becontree Brass Band (London & Southern Counties 1st Section) have double reasons to celebrate at its annual Summer Concert, to be held on Sunday 23rd July at the Kenneth More Theatre, Oakfield Road, Ilford.

The concert brings to an end a busy 2005/06 season, and also sees the band celebrate its 25th Anniversary.

The programme is entitled 'Windows of the World' and takes the form of a musical journey around the world. The entire programme will be complimented by a multimedia presentation and video clips.

Welcome back and Adios

Becontree are very pleased to welcome back former Principal Cornet Chris Storey for the night, who will be playing Flugel horn. However, the band bid a farewell 'Adios' to Soprano Cornet legend Steve Stokes- as he performs his last concert with the band prior to re-location.
