Windcorp set to tour

The Windcorp Band are setting up for a little mini tour to showcase their talents.

The Windcorp Brass Band from Sweden will do a mini-tour on 27th-28th May.

The runners-up at the Swedish Brass Band Championships last year have received great interest by brass players in Sweden, many of them wondering what and where would be the band’s next performance.

For everyones information, the Windcorp Brass Band will do a
lunch concert in Pingstkyrkan in Jönköping on Saturday 27 May 12.00, as a part of the Swedish Wind Music Festival. The concert
will be shared with Immanuel Brass from Jönköping.

In the evening, the BAYV Band from Wales will do a Gala Concert at the same venue.

On Sunday 28 May 19.00, WBB will conclude their mini-tour by giving a concert in Ryttargårdskyrkan in Linköping. Both concerts will feature items such as 'Purcell Variations', 'Songs in the Heart' featuring soloist David Glänneskog, 'Death or Glory' (Browne Hall) and 'Toccata: Oh the Blessed Lord'. Alexander Hanson will be conducting the band.
