Jim Davies takes up the baton at Drighlington.

The Drighlington Band has announced the appointment of Jim Davies as their new Musical Director.

Rapport

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Jim initially led the band at the Kippax Entertainments Final in November and an instant rapport was formed which the band are excited to be building on further in future.

The former Cory and Brighouse & Rastrick principal cornet will lead the band at the Yorkshire Regional Championships in Bradford.
