Further support for Manchester from Pennine Music and Brass Band Music Shop

The first anniversary of the tragic Manchester Arena attack brings continued support from one of the UKs leading brass band music publishers.

The evocative hymn tune arrangement of 'Manchester' is being offered out free this week to all customers of both Pennine Music and the Brass Band Music Shop.

First anniversary

It marks the recent first anniversary of the tragic events that took place at the Manchester Arena on 22nd May 2017 at an Ariana Grande concert.

To help commemorate and remember those lives lost, all customers ordering music this week from either Pennine Music or the Brass Band Music Shop, will also receive a free PDF copy of 'Manchester' arranged by Andi Cook via email (PDF download).

Target

This specially arranged and dedicated setting of the hymn tune, was put together shortly after the attacks, with £10.00 from every purchase being donated to the Manchester Evening News fundraising page, to help them achieve their target of £2 million.

The arrangement was also featured and recorded by Tubular Brass. Together, the Brass Band community raised just over £2,000 with their purchases.

April 18 • Hoover Band Bolton are seeking a 2nd Euphonium, Bb Bass and a kit player to complete our line-up in this friendly but committed band. We rehearse on Tuesdays & Thursdays 2000-2145 in our own bandroom at the Ukrainian Club in Bolton.
