The band hopes to raise funds for the wonderful charity

The Dronfield Genquip Band is looking forward to its annual 'black tie' charity dinner dance, which will also raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The evening is set to include a 3 course dinner, live music and dancing whilst raising money to support the charity that aims to provide the best possible care for patients and their families who are affected by cancer.

Popular event

Event organiser Maria Roberts told 4BR: "The band have already taken part in a number of events this year hoping to raise much needed money for Macmillan. The dinner dance is always a popular event and we want to encourage friends from other bands to buy a ticket and be part of a great night."

The dinner dance takes place on Saturday 1st June (7.30pm) at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Sheffield Park. Tickets are £30 with contribution going towards Macmillan.
