The European Brass Band Association (EBBA) has announced that ticket sales for the 2017 European Brass Band Championships in Ostend, Belgium from 24th — 30th April, will start on Wednesday 1st February.

29th April: EBBC Challenge Section and EBBC Championship Section (Own Choice)
29th April: Gala Concert
30th April: European Youth Brass Band Championships (Development and Premier Sections)

Single tickets

Single tickets are available for:
27th April: Final of the European Conductor Competition.

The European Brass Band Championships have been sold out every year since 2008. The 2016 event in Lille sold out in 1 day, so we would urge people to book tickets as soon as they become available on 1st FebruaryEBBA

The 40th European Brass Band Championships will take place in the impressive Kursaal in Ostend. The final of the European Conductor Competition will take place in the Grote Post, Ostend.

Frome Town Band

April 25 • Frome Town Band seeks a new Musical Director. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled musician with experience of running ensembles and events, who has an enthusiasm for and a vision towards developing the organisation as a community resource.


Sherborne Town Band

April 24 • Exciting opertunity for a principal cornet player to lead our friendly band. We also would be excited to hear from percussionists with experience in tuned percussion and kit. We are currently in the Championship section and have a busy schedule in 2024.


CLEETHORPES BAND CIO

April 24 • We have lots of cornets and horns but a little thin in the bottom end. Our players are happy to move around to help new players join the band, if you play baritone, euph or bass please give us a try. We rehearse every Sunday and Thursday at 7.30pm
