Carlton Main get their hands on some financial building bricks

Yorkshire band get their hands on a nice bit of helpful sponsorship for the New Year.

Carlton Main Frickley Colliery have received some great news for the New Year in form of a sponsorship deal with local development company Ben Bailey Homes. After a difficult last twelve months or so in which the very future of the band came under scrutiny, and in which they had to drop out of the All England Masters and fell from the British Open, the news comes as a real fillip.

Recent form has been encouraging though and following a good showing at the Brass in Concert contest at Spenymoor, the playing side of things are looking up. Now the financial side of things looks up too.

The Press Release from the band reads as follows:

Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band are very pleased to announce the Doncaster-based development company, Ben Bailey Homes, have secured the band's future with a three year sponsorship package. Initially the sponsorship is for two years with a 12-month period of notice, effectively giving the band three years of financial security. Ben Bailey Homes see the sponsorship as investing back into the local community and are very proud to be associated with Carlton Main. Equally the band are delighted to have their immediate future secured and are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Ben Baileys.
