JAG Mount Charles get a new brace of players.

Cornish champions bag two new faces for the New Year season.

 

The JAG Mount Charles band have announced the arrival of a couple of new signings for the New Year in shape of two ladies on horn and cornet. The Press Release reads as follows:

JAG Mount Charles are delighted to report of two new signings to the band.

Emma Smith returns to the band on 2nd Horn following a short spell at Bodmin Band.

Emma will replace Gavin Pedlar who is taking some time off to complete his exams in the summer. The members of the band wish Gavin the very best of luck for his exams and look forward to his return in the mid-year.

Also joining the band in the cornet section is Jane Whitehead. Jane who currently teaches brass at St. Pinnock previously played solo horn at Sellers International whilst studying for her exam in Huddersfield Polytechnic.

Derek Thomas said, ‘Both the players will add experience to the band and we look forward to them joining us from 2003’.
