Results: Wessex Brass Band Association Contest

Yeovil head the winners at the Pavilion Theatre in Weymouth.


Wessex Brass Band Association Contest 6th December 2003

The Wessex Brass Band Association held their annual contest on Saturday 6th December 2003 at the Pavilion Theatre,Weymouth; where a record entry of 36 Bands impressed adjudicator Bryan Hurdley in the Senior Sections with Paul Norley dealing with the Youth and Training Sections. This is the first time that this venue has been used for this contest by the Wessex but judging from the favourable response by the bands; who had a direct video link to their changing area, it will not be the last. The Major of Weymouth & Portland Doug Hollins presented the awards.
