The National Children’s Brass Band of Great Britain

First Residential Course to take place in July. We have the details.

The National Children’s Brass Band of Great Britain, which will stage its very first residential course in July 2004, has been auditioning around the country since June 2003. Auditions have been held in London, Huddersfield, Truro, Salford, Leicester and Sunderland and the NCBB is to hold one more audition session.

This will take place at St. Helens on Sunday 29th February and if there are any young players aged between 8 and 13 who have not yet auditioned and wish to do so, their parents or teachers should contact Philip Biggs on either 01223 234090 or 07710 505689 as soon as possible.

Plans are well advanced for the historic first course, with Lynda Nicholson already announced as Music Director. It is anticipated that the tutorial staff will be named shortly.
