Cutt heads for Fodens

Garry Cutt will become the new Professional Conductor at the British Open Champions.

Garry Cutt

Following months of speculation, especially after he had directed the Foden's Richardson Band to their first win at the British Open Brass Band Championships since 1964, it has been confirmed that Garry Cutt has accepted the invitation to become the new Professional Conductor at the band.

This major coup for Foden's Richardson will give them a huge boost for 2005 and will reinforce their determination to claim their place at the very top of the contesting tree in the UK.

Speculation now arises to who will take over his place at the Leyland Band, and there will be a great deal of anticipation for the new combination as they look to reclaim their place at the National Finals in Blackpool at the Regional Championships on the 13th March.

Press release

Foden's Richardson Band are pleased to end all speculation and are delighted to announce that Garry Cutt has accepted their invitation to take up the post of "Professional Conductor" with the band as from January 1st 2005.
