Willebroek welcome new faces

There are new players in the ranks for the Belgian Champions for the 2006 campaign.


For the New Year 2006, Brass Band Willebroek welcome some new faces in their band.

BB Willebroek thanks all leaving musicians for the many years of commitment and enthusiasm, and wishes their replacements pleasure in joinging themBrass Band Willebroek

On Bb bass Ruben Vanveggel who has played the past years with BB Limburg and BB Buizingen joins. He replaces Bernd Van Echelpoel who was recently appointed in the Symphony Orchestra 'Holland Symfonia' in Amsterdam.

Meanwhile Annick Geerts (baritone) leaves the band. She is replaced by the very young and talented Nick Vermeiren, who is recruted from Young Brass Band Willebroek.

Furthermore the band welcome Wouter Loose on the bass trombone. Wouter is the bass trombone player of the 'Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides', and has replaced Peter Van Gorp at the Nationals who could not take part by sickness. Peter will occupy the chair of second trombone as from the New Year.

The Corsham Band

Hemel Hempstead Band

April 18 • Friendly, ambitious, busy LSC 4th section band seeks experienced, enthusiastic Musical Director from mid-June when current MD departs for pastures new. We have a busy summer of concerts, fetes, and bandstand commitments. Rehearsals Monday evenings.
