Eden to get Radio 3 airing

Dr John Pickard's Eden, voted by 4BR readers as the Test Piece of the Year, is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Wednesday 4th January.

 

Eden performed by BAYV (Robert Childs) is just one piece to be aired as part of a ten part series on Radio 3 entitled 'Made in Britian' commencing on Monday 26th December and concluding on Friday 6th January.

All ten programmes will include some seasonal choral music, a concerto and music for brass or wind band.

In addition, to Eden, listeners will be able to hear Eric Ball's Resurgam, John McCabe's Cloudcatcher Fells and Mosaic by Eikanger Bjorsvik Musikklag
