Record entry for Butlins

There are a record number of bands geting their lips in shape for the first major contest festival of the year, as Butlins announce the line up of competitors for Skegness.



Butlins Resort Skegness has informed 4BR that they are pleased to announce a record number of entries for their forthcoming Mineworkers Brass Band Festival which will take place over the weekend of January 19 to 22.

All five sections will compete on Saturday January 20 playing the set test pieces and the Championship section also features an entertainment contest on Sunday January 21.
