Maines reconnected to airwaves

The popular John Maines is back on the airwaves as World of Brass launches a new weekly one hour programme from Friday 22nd December.

The well-known brass band personality, John Maines is set to return to the airwaves after World of Brass, the largest distributor of brass band recordings globally, announced its latest initiative, a weekly one-hour programme via the World of Brass website.

Terrific initiative

Trevor Caffull, the Managing Director of SP & S, the parent company of World of Brass told 4BR 'John Maines approached us shortly after his GMR programme had been taken off the air and we thought it would be a terrific initiative. A weekly show will be made available each Friday, with a rolling programme of the most recent four shows available at any time'.
