Hadfield heads for Carlton Main

After a lengthy search looking for the right person to fill the Resident Conductor's role, Carlton Main are delighted to confirm to 4BR that they've finally got the right man, Denis Hadfield.

After 12 months of searching for the right person to fill the vacant resident conductors position we are pleased to announce the appointment of Denis Hadfield.

It has been a very difficult process that the band has gone through but we feel that it has been worth the wait to eventually secure the services of the person that we feel can take the band forwardNigel Dixon

On behalf of Carlton Main, Nigel Dixon
told 4BR 'It has been a very difficult process that the band has gone through but we feel that it has been worth
the wait to eventually secure the services of the person that we feel can take the band forward'.

Former player

Denis who is a former player with Carlton first came to prominence as a conductor when he took Todmorden from the 3rd section to the championship section in a very short period of time, has already brought a fresh bout of enthusiasm to the Band room and we are eagerly looking forward to the new year with anticipation.

Good luck Kate

Carlton Main would also like to offer or very best wishes to Kate Eggleshaw as she leaves the band to concentrate on her A level studies before entering the RNCM in September.

It has been very satisfying to see Kate progress as a player over the last three years and we hope she will look back over this time with great satisfaction.

Thanks Kate and all the best for the future!
