Short review:
Highlights of the Besson National Brass Band Championship Gala Concert 2004
The 2004 National Champions, Black Dyke and the Royal Marines provide over an hour of fine entertainment that gives you everything from a night out at your local pictures to a trip through the Amazonian Rainforest.
Fine solos from Roger Webster (on best Harry James form)and David Thornton are highlights, but the centrepiece is Dyke's winning performance of '...all the flowers of the mountain...' which is a superbly shaped musical portrayal of the beautiful Wiclow Mountains.
