Short review:
Black Dyke show off their impressive talents with this the fifth in the popular series of easy listening ‘concert’ CDs.
Everything here from a breezy new march, to a snorter of a overture, Elizabethan Court music, four great soloists, their most recent National winning test piece, and the 1812 Overture complete with cannons to round things off.
It is a formula that gets the crowds packed into to concert hall all over the world – and you can hear why. Professionally slick and musically brilliant with bags of charisma thrown in for good measure. What more can you ask for?
