What a Pity...

Fulham Brass to take part in a major theatre production that starts off normally but soon descends into complete madness...

Pity
The band plays a central part in the production...

Fulham Brass will be making multiple appearances on a very different stage over the next few weeks as they perform as part of a major theatre production at London's Royal Court Theatre.

'Pity' has been written by award-winning playwright, Rory Mullarky, and is based on an intriguing synopsis...

A normal day.

A person stands in the market square watching the world go by.

What happens next verges on the ridiculous.

There's ice cream. Sunshine. Shops. Some dogs. A wedding. Bombs. Candles. Blood. Lightning. Sandwiches. Snipers. Looting. Gunshots. Babies. Actors. Azaleas. Famine. Fountains. Statues. Atrocities.

And tanks. (Probably).

Getting worse?

His new play asks whether things really are getting worse. And if we care.

It also features Fulham Brass in a central in both the 'normality' as well as well as the 'madness' of the tale — and will see them appear in over 30 performances at the famous Sloane Square theatre until the 11th August.

Huge undertaking

Band Manager, Jonathan Barker told 4BR: "This is a huge undertaking for the band, but a really exciting one! The production is a fantastic one and we're so proud to be involved."
