Oxted suspend dynamic levels

The Oxted Band has invested in some impressive acoustic tiling to keep their dynamics in check.

Oxted
The 15 acoustic tiles will ensure health and safety requirements are met for the players

The Oxted Band is ensuring that it will keep a lid on its dynamics after it completed work on the installation of 15 acoustic panels at its refurbished bandroom.

The 30 players will now be able to perform without fear or literally raising the roof after a fantastic fund raising effort and generous donations from friends and supporters saw them able to purchase the acoustic panels and baffles which were fitted by acoustic specialist Resonics.

Important

Suspended from the ceiling, the panels will absorb between 80% and 90% of the sound generated, with Chairman, Ben Hicks telling 4BR: "We believe that this is an important and justified use of our precious band funds to safeguard the health and well being of members of both our senior and training bands."
