Fulham makes Parkhouse signing for Stevenage

Fulham Brass heads to Stevenage with a raft of new signings — headed by the ISB's baritone star Iain Parkhouse.

  Iain Parkhouse joins the band for their Stevenage challenge

Fulham Brass has announced that the vastly experienced Iain Parkhouse, solo baritone of the International Staff Band of the Salvation Army, will join their ranks for the forthcoming London & Southern Counties Regional Championships in Stevenage.

Paternity

Iain is covering for Jonathan Barker, the band's solo baritone and joint band manager, who is on paternity leave following the birth of his son, Samuel.

Others making their contest debuts with the band as they seek to claim the First Section title under John Ward, are new signings Gareth Trott (euphonium), Isabelle Williamson (horn), Vicky Ahmed (horn) and Steve Loosemore (trombone).

HOOVER BAND BOLTON

April 18 • Hoover Band Bolton are seeking a 2nd Euphonium, Bb Bass and a kit player to complete our line-up in this friendly but committed band. We rehearse on Tuesdays & Thursdays 2000-2145 in our own bandroom at the Ukrainian Club in Bolton.


West Midlands Police Band

April 18 • Are you a dedicated musician seeking an exciting opportunity? We're on the lookout for a 2nd Euphonium, BBb or Eb Bass, and Percussion (kit). Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays in a welcoming atmosphere at Chelmsley Wood Police Station.
