The British Open & Brass in Concert champion, Cory has launched the first of a three-part series of video interviews with Musical Director, Philip Harper.

Hear from Harper

In 'Hear from Harper', Philip answers questions submitted by the band's social media followers from around the world, enabling him to give some enlightening answers on a whole range of topics — from open adjudication to Strictly Come Dancing!

Behind the scenes

Philip told 4BR: "People don't often get to see and hear what happens behind the scenes in elite banding unless you are part of one of them, but that's something at Cory we're making real efforts to change.

Hopefully this series of interviews will provide them with some insight and interesting revelations."

Support us for less than a cup of coffee...

4BR wants to ensure that the brass band movement remains vibrant and relevant. We also want to be able to question, challenge and critically examine those who run and play in it, producing high quality journalism that informs as well as entertains our readers.

So if like us you value a strong, independent perspective on the brass band world - then why not consider becoming a supporter and help make our future and that of a burgeoning brass band movement more secure.

So one less cappuccino then?
