Carlton Brass has announced the appointment of Gary Glover as their new Musical Director.

Gary is an old friend of Carlton having played euphonium and conducted them in the past. He is the former Director of Music of the Nottinghamshire Police Band and now works in the Nottinghamshire area as a musician and teacher.

Impressed

Band spokesperson Dave Rutt said, "Gary has been a friend of the band for a number of years. His varied musical experience and considered approach greatly impressed the band and we are very much looking forward to having him conduct us.

It's been a while since we've seen him but we are all anticipating some excellent rehearsals with him getting to grips with our summer concert material."

I'm delighted to have been offered this appointment. It will be nice to be back with the band that holds many great memories for meGary Glover

Delighted
