The musical partnership between Garry Hallas and East Riding of Yorkshire Band has come to an end.
The East Riding of Yorkshire Band has announced the departure of Musical Director Garry Hallas.
Band Chairman David Vivian told 4BR: "Since taking over in 2016 we have enjoyed contest success as well as a very successful programme of concerts, with Garry's programming and compering skills building a strong audience connection with a number of sold out events.
They added: "Garry has been far more than a musical director and has been an active and supportive member of the management team with fundraising and the move to the new bandroom. We wish Garry well in his next musical venture and every success in the future."
