1st: £2,000 plus the British Open Gold Trophy.
2nd: £1,250 plus the Frank Parker Memorial Cup.
3rd: £600 plus the Harry Mortimer Trophy.
4th: £400 plus the Edrich Siebert Memorial Trophy.
5th: £300
6th: £200

The Iles Medal was awarded to Richard Evans.

Only two adjudicators were used at the contest, the first time since 1957.

Woodfalls and Solent Concert were relegated.

The first two movements from "An Epic Symphony" Plus "Fusions" were used together. "Fusions" was cut in two places due to time constraints.

Tintwistle Band

September 17 • We are looking for a front row cornet player to help complete the team. We are a second section band and rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle. . We perform a variety of concerts all year round.
