1st: £2,000 plus the British Open Gold Trophy.
2nd: £1,250 plus the Frank Parker Memorial Cup.
3rd: £600 plus the Harry Mortimer Trophy.
4th: £400 plus the Edrich Siebert Memorial Trophy.
5th: £300
6th: £200

The Iles Medal was awarded to Richard Evans.

Only two adjudicators were used at the contest, the first time since 1957.

Woodfalls and Solent Concert were relegated.

The first two movements from "An Epic Symphony" Plus "Fusions" were used together. "Fusions" was cut in two places due to time constraints.

Cambrian Brass

Delph Band

May 15 • We are seeking an enthusiastic and musically skilled Associate Conductor to lead and develop our band alongside our current Musical Director Phil Goodwin. . Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8-10pm at Delph Band Club.


Tintwistle Band

May 15 • We have a vacancy for a soprano cornet, and with lots of exciting engagements coming up we would love to get this seat filled!. We rehearse every Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom in Tintwistle, under the baton of our superb MD, Jim Henson.
