1st: £200 plus £2,000 Gold Trophy plus the Thomson Challenge Trophy.
2nd: £120 plus The Frank Parker Memorial Cup.
3rd: £100

Each member of the winning band received engraved certificates.

The winning conductor received an engraved cigarette casket.

The Iles Medal was presented to William Wood.

Fairey completed a 'hat trick' of wins and were barred from the 1964 contest.
