More information...

Rob Nesbitt aka 'NEZZY' — Cartoonist for Brass Band World magazine since 2002 and creator of the nezzyonbrass.com and procartoon.com web sites.

Rob Nesbitt has been drawing cartoons since he was old enough to pick up a pencil and played in brass bands since he was six years old. Currently with City of Cardiff (Mellingriffith) Rob has played at the highest level for many years with Tredegar Town Band.

The combination of both hobbies was put to good when he sent in a letter to the the then Editor of Brass Band World Magazine, Bob Mulholland, complete with with a cartoon. Bob was so impressed he invited Rob to be the magazines cartoonist, the position he has held ever since through a series of owners and Editors. Every month he produces a cartoon for the satirical 'And Another Thing...' article in BBW and more recently has also written the article with his madcap view on what makes brass banding such a fantastic hobby.

His www.nezzyonbrass.com web site offers free downloadable cartoons, articles, podcasts, brass band profiles and brass band quizzes. He launches a shop on the web site in October 2018 selling many of his cartoon prints, original cartoon artwork, designer band pens, cartoon mugs and a brand new line in brass band driftwood cartoon figures — 'Nezzy Drifters'. If you are looking for a gift for a band, band member or just something a little bit different or unique please take a look at the Nezzyonbrass.com shop.

You can also find more NEZZY cartoons and articles on the nezzyonbrass facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/nezzyonbrass/
