Regent Brass presents a free concert as part of the Regent Hall Brass Festival, with a programme exploring ceremony, memory, landscape and transformation.
Music includes Verdi Grand March from Aida, Emily Howard Obsidian, works by Malcolm Arnold, Respighi, Rubbra and de Falla, and the premiere of a new piece by our young composer-in-residence, Franklin Onyeso.
Bringing together operatic spectacle, lyrical reflection, elemental drama and the energy of the brass band tradition, this promises to be a vivid and wide-ranging programme in a historic and iconic brass band venue.
