Raunds Temperance Band has announced the signings of four new players.

Bob Wallinger, Fiona Harley and Graham Littleford all on horn and Paul Shafi on soprano all join the ranks.

Chairperson Samantha Goswell told 4BR: "This is a great boost and we are very happy to have them on board. With more players in the pipeline, this is shaping up to be a very exciting time under our new MD Robin Norman."

Raunds has been helped out by a huge band of students over the Summer period and Samantha added: "Well, the summer does not last forever and they have returned to uni for a new year of studying, but we are very grateful to them all."
