Water music for Fenwick

Northumbrian Water Ellington Colliery has picked up one of the rising conducting stars to lead them in 2010.

Northumbrian Water Ellington Colliery Band has announced the appointment of Jonathan Fenwick as their new Musical Director.

Band Manager, John Colvine told 4BR: "The band are really excited about working with Jonathan. Since starting with us in early November he has quickly made a big impact with the band at rehearsals and engagements and is already a big hit with audiences."

He added: "Jonathan is one of the most exciting and talented young conductors in the North East."
