The Leyburn Band has been celebrating the end of a very successful 2009.

The village band re-formed in 2003, had worked really hard throughout the year — a year that saw the release of second CD ‘Signature’ and various contest successes, culminated in a very successful Christmas Concert.

Over 350 people turned out to hear the band of 43 players at the concert which was preceded by a grand firework display.
