Besses O' th’ Barn has announced the appointment of their new MD, Jonathan Lo.

Outstanding

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Jonathan proved the outstanding candidate in a fine field of applicants for the MD’s position and the band are looking forward to a successful year with him at the helm."

Jonny is completely new to the brass band field, although he is a former French horn player. He is currently at the Royal Northern College of Music studying towards a Masters in Conducting, having completed his undergraduate studies at Oxford University.
