The Boarshurst Silver Band (Greenfield), has announced two new signings to strengthen their line up for the forthcoming Area Championship.

Signings

Nichola Nurray has signed on front row from the United Co-op Milnrow.
Nic previously played principal cornet with BMP Goodshaw prior and repiano with YBS.

Meanwhile, David N Ashworth, son of the band's MD, moves from the cornet rank of Pemberton Old Wigan DW to take up the soprano chair.

They both have a great deal of experience which I am sure will boost the confidence of the rest of the teamMD, David W Ashworth
