Jenkins spotlight for Cory

European champion to spotlight works of Karl Jenkins at Bridgewater Hall.

European champions, Cory has released details of its programme to be performed in the first half of the Gala Evening Concert of the Great Northern Spring Brass Arts Festival at The Bridgewater Hall on
Sunday 9th May.

Spotlight

Conducted by Dr. Robert Childs, the band will place the spotlight on the music of Welsh composer Karl Jenkins, including a performance of his 'Euphonium Concerto' played by David Childs.

The band will also premiere a new work by Dan Price entitled, 'Trip the Light Fantastic', featuring horn soloist Owen Farr.

The second half of the Gala will be performed by The Foden’s Band, conducted by Garry Cutt, whose programme was released last week.
