Hebden Bridge Heritage weekend

The 3rd Hebden Bridge Heritage weekend is set to take place in June.

The Hebden Bridge Band has announced that their 3rd Heritage Weekend will take place on 19th and 20th June.

The weekend will include a 'Heritage Gala Concert' and March contest for all to enjoy.

Contest

Entries are now being invited for the March and Hymn Tune Contest to be held on Sunday 20th June.

The event is held in the picturesque setting of Bridge Gate and St George’s Square, with its many quaint pubs and restaurants. The contest is pre-drawn and up to 20 bands will play for the many prizes.

Heritage Weekend

The contest forms the finale for the Heritage Weekend which also involves a Gala Concert on the Saturday evening at Hebden Bridge Picture House, with guest soloist Joseph Cook of Black Dyke Band.

Mortimers

The idea of the weekend is to celebrate the band’s link with the Mortimer family. The band is also pleased to welcome Martin Mortimer as a special guest at the event.
