New Imps hop on board

Yorkshire Imps has announced a trio of new signings.

Following the recent appointment of David Nesbitt as their new MD, Yorkshire Imperial Urquhart Travel Band has welcomed three new players to the ranks.

Trio

Barry Tufnell returns on second euphonium after a 5 year absence. Prior to his short retirement, Barry played with Hade Edge, Skelmanthorpe, Drighlington and Stocksbridge.

Meanwhile, Susan Pickles was a long serving member of the Powerfuel Hatfield band until her transfer to Imps. Susan joins on second horn to complete the section.

Finally, the trombone section has been strengthened with the arrival of David Flatman on bass trombone. David has a wealth of experience as a player and conductor alike. and transfers from Hammonds Saltaire Band.

Imps have gone through somewhat of regeneration over recent months and these three excellent signings will benefit the outfit greatlyYorkshire Imps
