Advert: Cory set for Ebbw Vale concert

Cory set for Eisteddfod starting gun at Ebbw Vale.

Cory

The current World, European and British Open champion, Cory are putting the final touches to their preparations for their concert at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre this evening (24th June)

Starting gun

The event sees the starting gun fired on the local preparations ahead of the National Eisteddfod of Wales coming to the former steel making town next month, where the event plays host to the only free to air televised brass band competition in the world.

Cory was delighted to accept the invitation form the local organising committee to unofficially ‘open’ the town’s cultural contribution to the event.

Great thrill

MD Bob Childs told 4BR: "Having just come back from a trip to Europe where the National Eisteddfod of Wales is held in such high cultural regard, it’s a great thrill to help Ebbw Vale welcome the great event to the town with this concert."

Varied programme

Cory has promised a varied programme of music featuring many of its leading star players, with the MD keen to put on a great show.

"We are really looking forward to the concert as it is the chance to show off our talents to a local audience – something which we are unable to do as often as we would like."
