Hepworth's Last of the Summer Wine

Hepworth (Cookson Homes) plays its part in BBC farewell to iconic comedy show.

The Hepworth (Cookson Homes) Band recently played a part in a BBC recording for 'Songs of Praise', which will pay tribute to the comedy series, 'Last of the Summer Wine', which has been recorded in and around the band's home village of Holmfirth in West Yorkshire for over three decades.

The BBC announced in June that the 31st series of the world's longest comedy sit-com will be it's last.

Hepworth accompanied the communal hymns and soloist, Lesley Garrett in Victoria Park. The recorded programme will be broadcast on Sunday 29th August.
