Tuba star Les Neish certainly enjoys a varied musical life it seems following his latest appearance with international pop icon Sting.

After playing with the Geordie songster on his latest album release Les is now getting ready to perform with a very different set of musical artists – the 60 strong Counterpoint Choir from Lurgan in Northern Ireland.

Les will perform with the songsters and members of Festival Brass – a band made up of the best brass players in the province this weekend.

And with not a weekend off for the rest of the year, Les has told 4BR that 2011 is looking just as busy too – "After concerts from Arizona to France, I’m getting closer to home," he said. "I hope to have a nice break around Christmas, and then it starts all over again!"
