Patrick (Pat) Spencer will be playing the 'Last Post' once again this weekend in remembrance of the sacrifice made by those in the service of our country.

64th time

Like many hundreds of bandsmen up and down the country, Pat will make his contribution — although he is doing it aged well into his 80s — and for the 64th time.

Pat learned to play the cornet in Heage Band as a boy and played in several local bands over the years including Heage and Webb Ivory (Newhall). He also helped out most bands in the locality.

This year he is playing his 64th 'Last Post' and 'Reveille' at both Horsley Church and Kilburn War Memorial.
