Black Dyke MD, Dr Nicholas Childs will direct Co-operative Funeralcare at the Scottish Championships in Perth in February.
The appointment sees the Welshman return to the band that he has led to the Scottish title on four previous occasions, as well as claiming the All England Masters Championship too.
Band Manager Robert McCorkell told 4BR: "We are looking forward with great anticipation to renewing what has been a most successful partnership – and one that will hopefully once again produce a performance to remember."

Dr. Childs meanwhile added: "I first conducted the Co-op over 10 years ago. They are a unique band with real flair and tremendous passion. I look forward to working on Philip Wilby's ‘Paganini’ and hopefully converting that passion into a winning performance."
