Bandsmen and women are being asked to keep an eye out for a stolen Bb tuba, which has been pinched by thieves from Stannington Band.

Reference number

The Besson Sovereign Bb Bass was taken out of a locked garage at the side of one of the player’s homes and has the reference number BE994-888646.

So if you are approached with a tuba deal of a lifetime and no questions asked, it may be worth asking just where the goods cam from.
