Newly crowned Brass at the Guild Hall champion Pemberton Old DW Wigan has announced a quintet of recent signings.

Students

Nick Birch joins on solo euphonium after helping out at last year’s Scottish Open. Nick is in his first year at the RNCM in Manchester and is joined by fellow student Adam Keech who comes in on second cornet.

Adam has finished his studies at Huddersfield University and is currently doing his PGCE to be a qualified music teacher and until recently played flugel for Yorkshire Co-Op.

Wire converts

Lynne Rigby and Tony Daniels come from Wire Brass on front row cornet and baritone respectively whilst John Breeze also comes from Wire on back row cornet.
