Two members of Trinity Girls Band, sisters Diane Haselden) and Denise Grundy are celebrating 50 years service with the band.

Diane, who plays cornet joined in 1960, with Denise, who now plays Eb tuba 12 months later.

Both politely refused any 4BR request to reveal their ages, but would say that they did join as very, very young girls!4BR

To mark the occasion Trinity Girls are holding an evening of celebration and music with a 3 course dinner including guest speaker Richard Evans in April, where Diane and Denise will be guests of honour.
