Patriotic

Playing to a 300 strong capacity audience at Bishop Walsh Catholic School, the band played the traditional patriotic favourites plus ‘Gaelforce’, ‘Pastime with Good Company’ and MD David Bishop-Rowe's splendid arrangement of ‘Scarborough Fair’. Soloists featured where flugel Robin Mills and principal cornet Rob Green.

John Foster

An interesting development from the concert was the booking of the band for the 150th anniversary celebrations of a local church, which was helped in its foundation by the Foster family of John Foster Black Dyke Mills fame.
