Smithills thank Brighouse

National Champions gain 50 new fans thanks to concert generosity.

Members of Smithills School Senior Band and MD Chris Wormald were delighted to be given 50 complimentary tickets to watch Brighouse & Rastrick Band perform under the baton of Sandy Smith at Bolton’s Victoria Hall on the weekend.

The generous offer enabled the youngsters to listen to the National Champions on top form with featured solos by Stuart Lingard, Chris Gomersall and Steve Walsh as well as a number of well known marches and items of English repertoire for the St George’s themed concert.
