The Blidworth Welfare Band recently bid a fond farewell to solo baritone player Kieren Williams who has relocated to Slough due to work commitments.
During his two and half years with the band, he enjoyed numerous successes on the contest platform.
Missed
MD Martin Heartfield commented to 4BR: "Kieren has contributed greatly to the bands success and will be missed both as a player and as a committee member."

Replacement
His replacement is the highly regarded Dawn Evans, who has played with a number of bands in the Midlands region.
Band spokesperson Karen Cretney told 4BR: "The addition of Dawn will see the band continue to progress as we head into summer with some new exciting concerts including our 30th Anniversary Concert in September."
