The Elland Silver Band has been celebrating their wins on the recent Whit Friday march contesting circuit along with their Youth Band success at the Hebden Bridge March Contest.

Light fantastic

has also announced that following their recording at Manchester for the BBC3 'Light Fantastic series', the programme will be broadcast on BBC3 on Monday 27th June.

Led by MD James Shepherd, the band performed 'Aces High' and 'The British Grenadiers', pieces that were chosen for them by the BBC.
